  • Jan 4, 2010: A new year, and with it new horrors! We're back, and apologies for the long delay. My New Year's Resolution is to try and update once a month at least. I'm about half-way through a full update. For now, enjoy plenty of new Headlines and Cthulhu Gaming news. There are also some additions to the Mythos Media and Links sections. Hope to have more later today or tomorrow.
  • March 16, 2009: Just a little tide-you-over for now. More to come soon. But for now, enjoy some Headlines and a nice little update on The Bloop.

  • Fabruary 14, 2009: A full update is on the way, but here's some reading to tide you over. Drew "Dagon's Daughter" Dahmer has given us two fine bits of fiction, and I've posted them in our Submissions section. And as a related piece, we also get access to Temple Bishop's blog in the Links section. Fear not. All the creepy headlines and tentacular tidbits you expect from us will be here soon.

  • Cthulhu Gaming...will you choose Sudan in the 1890s, Aylesbury in the 1920s, or Seattle in 2011? Finally, we do a quick round up of Mythos Media. Please keep your articles on all aspects of this site pouring in. I'd also love to hear your requests for Reviews, as well as your own reviews on items.
  • January 18, 2009: Something I've been asked about in the past is the addition of a section for Reviews of various pieces of Lovecraftiana. Well, because of a 3-year old promise, I've finally added this section to our site and added a couple of reviews to kick things off. I hope other folks will add to it as well!
  • January 15, 2009: Well, it certainly seems like folks are glad we're back. You can also find new pieces in the Photographs, Merchandise, and Submissions sections, as well as a few updates under Links. You can expect more updates very soon.
  • January 7, 2009: "That is not dead which can eternal lie..." You asked for it...you waited for it...and here it is. We're not gone for good after all, it seems. After my father passed away, I got crazy busy settling his estate, and then, apparently, I just wasn't in the mood to continue working on the site. But, apparently, the stars are right, because I suddenly found myself wanted to get back to work on it. I'm going to launch back into the project over then ext week or so, so it'll take me a little time to ramp back up to full insanity, but stay tuned. Those of you with patience and perseverence and the belief that we'd be back shall shortly be rewarded.
  • November 1, 2006: As you awake on All Hallows Day to find that the world still exists, you can tease your taste for horror with a new story by Brian Downes in our Submissions section.

I won't let you all down. Although the site will be scaling back to limit what we cover (real life news far more than gaming or other media news), we'll still be here. I urge you to submit headlines; original artwork, stories, poetry, and such; entertaining weblinks; and anything else you consider BloopWorthy. I'm working on coming up with a goodly reward for all my hard-working Correspondents (most likely a button), and if you've submitted something and would lke to show BloopPride, by all means, contact me by email with your real life address, and I'll send a reward out to you. • September 11, 2006: I don't even know if people are still looking here, but it's been a super-rough summer here at the BloopHouse. Things are stablizing now, and I'm about to relaunch BloopWatch with a bit of a change. Since there are so many sites that cover HPL movie, game, and other media releases, I'm going to stop pushing these subjects. I'm going to fall back to our original concept of reporting real life news with a Lovecraft twist. Based on recent events, we'll also be reporting about some Cthulhu Live games that we'll be involved with the running of. And we'll continue to host original art, poetry, fiction, or whatever else folks would like to contribute. Look for the first new update before the end of this week.
