Matthew Sisk's Sci Data - The Peche Merle "Mammoth"

Matthew writes, "Not sure if this is up your alley or not, but as an archaeologist and a Lovecraft fan I couldn't refrain from sending it along. This is a 28,000 year old painting from the French cave of Peche Merle. They say its a mammoth, but I’ve not seen many mammoths that stand on their back legs or have so much tentacle-looking fur."
