Lost Cause's Art - Whisper in the Dark

The following story was related in the email containing this picture...

i recently found your website, and wish to give you that which i must not have...... 2 weeks after my discovery of the photo the phone calls began. always leaving messages, never calling when i was home. i ignored them at first, thinking they were some joke or wrong number...
but then beneath the strange noises i heard the whispers......
after that, this will mark the 7th time the street lights have been replaced outside of my house with at least a month of darkness between each repair....
within those periods of blackouts my doorbell rings each night at 1:15am....
on the back of the photo is written in old hand, "they walk with strange feet, and whisper in the dark."
