Athol vs. Dunwich - Outside the Town Center

I drove from the direction of my Dad's house near route 2, towards the center of town on 2A. I had a beautiful view of a couple of cool hills in the distance, as well as several churches and other buildings.

The Hills Rise Wild

The hills in the distance. Is that tall one Sentinel Hill? Hmmm?

Church on the Green

At the base of the hill, I found a cute little town green, with a tall church spire next to it. I snapped a photo, then went on my way.

The Old Meeting Hall

This was the old town meeting hall, now the seat of the Athol Historical Society.

The Grange

This very old-looking building looks to be the metting hall of some Masonic-type organization. Loved the look of it. I believe it was called the Grange.

This Old House

I just loved the look of this old farmhouse on the hillside. It conjured images for me.
