Athol vs. Dunwich - Outside the Town Center
Once down in the town center, I drove back and forth a few times, snapping shots as best I could. I'm sure a number of folks were wondering what I was up to...
View down to the River

This was taken in the Athol Conservation center. Very pretty site, with canoeing and such. There are park benches and large rocks...perhaps ones taken from off nearby hilltops?
The Blue House

Right at the edge of the Conservation Area, I spotted this house. I thought it just looked really cool.
St. Francis of Assisi Church

Just a super-cool old brick church. I love old churches and such.
Built in 1889

Darned if I know what it is, but it was built in 1889. ;)
Town Center

As I was heading back towards my Dad's house, I wanted to snap a shot of the town's center. It has that great New England in the 50s look to it that I remember from so many cities in my youth (includng my birthplace of Woburn, MA.) Lots of cute little shops, mixed in with Subway Sandwiches and such.
City Hall?

I was passing by quickly and wanted to snap a shot of this building. I *think* it's the town hall? But I'm not positive. I'll try to verify on a future trip.
