The Poetry of Dagon's Daughter (Drew Dahmer)
D.D. is really into the Star-Nosed Mole, a creature which does look a bit Lovecraftian. You can view an article about it here. She's also been gracious enough to share some poetry with us. You can also check out her MySpace.
Dunwich's Curse
Looking over your shoulder in Fear
Of whatever looks back from the Mirror
Knowing you cannot be saved by the clear
Intent of the Ancient Ones who revere
This town's Enslavement, the screams that they hear
They with true power are learning by ear
The Unspeakable One's Song, and His Yellow leer.
Whatley's World: Old Ties
In an ill-fated town, where curses exist,
Old families whisper their secrets.
Even the purest soul is tainted here,
To breathe the air, is to agree to madness.
No doorway is safe, no sleep ever peaceful,
The reality surrounding you, not real at all.
Day to day life interrupted by the supernatural.
Insanity is common here,
As are the shadows moving in the darkness.
